Active holiday for families with children and nature lovers. Try kayaking, SUP (Stand Up Paddle board), sailing, hiking, nature baths and accommodation on board. For two days, with food and accommodation aboard our two-mast motor sailor, we explore the nature of Lake Vänern together. No experience required. Children of different ages and beginners are welcome.

Explore one of the finest areas in Vänern’s archipelago with your family. The Lindökroken in Brommö Nature Reserve is a popular natural harbour. There are nice, shallow sandy beaches for the children, cliffs, pebble beaches and nice hiking trails. Through a shallow wharf, we can cross to the island of Brommö with cosy wind shelters and fireplaces.

Day 1:
Start at 10:00 in Mariestad harbour.
Boat trip / sailing trip to Brommö nature reserve.

  Overnight in the nature reserve.

Day 2:

Boat trip back to Mariestad, sailing if the wind allows.

Number of participants: Max 7 people, participants in their own cabins (By agreement we can take groups of up to 12 people, then we supplement with accommodation in tents)

Adult: 3900 SEK
Children under the age of 16 half price
Children under 6 years free
Book the entire boat for 14 900 SEK

Extra night on board: Start or end the trip with an extra night on board. Price 350 SEK / person and night.

Included: Accommodation with sheets in single or double cabins, fully equipped kayaks, SUP, 2 lunches, 2 dinners, 1 breakfast, coffee break / snacks, skipper / guide.

Guide: As we often have participants from different countries, the guidings normally take place in English but the guides also speak Swedish.

Transfer: From Gothenburg there is a direct train to Mariestad. If possible, we collect and leave you at no extra cost at the bus and train station.

All participants become part of the crew and help with various tasks on board as; cooking, dishes and loading of kayaks.

If it blows too much, the tour can be cancelled. Too much wind means constant wind over 10 meters per second, but the skipper always has the last word as several factors are to be considered. It seldom happens during the summer that the tour needs to be cancelled.
